3 different Kids Room Buntings

If you follow my blog at all then you know I LOVE buntings!

I finally finished the fabric bunting for Lydia's room (top) so I thought I would share it along with Jack's and Addy/Averi's.

They all wanted a bunting for their room so I tried to make them all different shapes.  I'm not sure what you would call the first bunting...snake tongue?  Then the second is half circles and lastly triangles.  There are soooo many different things you can do with buntings.  These 3 were all made with cotton scraps cut into shapes and sewn to a long ribbon or ric rac.  I think it looks better if the ribbon runs along the front of the bunting with the fabric facing forward behind the ribbon.  I usually space the fabric pieces one finger apart.  :)

Have a great weekend!!  I had the BEST dream last night that it rained and my grass was green again...Oh wouldn't that be nice?!!

Hi Sundi, I just found your blog through WhipperBerry - very cute! Do you have a tutorial on bunting? If you can turn this into 5 steps I'd love to include it into my Five Tips Friday series. Let me know! You can email me at PlayfulDecor (at) gmail (dot) com. Talk soon! Nan
