And The Winner Is....(yup you have to scroll to the bottom)

So maybe your all like "um...the something blue is crafted too" and then I'm like "ya, it is."

The "something old" is the book (in case you couldn't tell).  To be perfectly honest with you all,  I hadn't the foggiest idea what my giveaway was going to be until the night before I posted about it....(let's just say that was a long night).  I work best with deadlines.

Ok, back to the book.  I have big plans to write up a post with pictures about how old books are just about the cheapest way to spruce up your house and bring in some color.  Oh and it's not what you think, there's a surprise twist too...so...........ya....I bet your on pins and needles right now waiting for that one!

This book is yellow and CUTE and a good read!  It was printed/published in 1968 although the stories in it are much older than that.  This Reader's Digest Best Loved Books includes "Wuthering Heights", "Typhoon", "The Last Of The Mohicans" and "The Yearling".  All awesome stories!  I picked this book up because it included "Wuthering Heights".  Last week, I convinced Mike that we should watch the movie "The Proposal" again.  Such a funny movie! I enjoyed it especially much this time because Mike didn't turn off the T.V. during the kissing parts, (ya, he usually does that).  In The Proposal, Sandra Bulloch mentions that she reads "Wuthering Heights" every Christmas and it's her favorite book.  So I thought.....geez where am I going with this!  Get to the point Sundi!!!  I just thought it would be a good book to have in your collection.  MOVING ON!!!!

The pumpkins are new.  I saw them at a cute little antique store here in town (yes I know "antique store" sounds old but they're not).  I couldn't resist them.  I love teeny things!  They would look perfect somewhere on your thanksgiving table or in your decor.

"Something crafted" is the apron.  I posted this apron tutorial  here.  What I love most about this apron is that it looks so springy and yet so Christmas-ey (not a word?).  How that's possible I don't know, but I'm having a hard time parting with this upcycled apron!

The flowers are the "something blue".  Oh man, multipurpose flowers are a staple at my house!  I have a pair of  these beauties at home and between my 3 girls and I, they rarely sit a day out.  Either I am wearing them on a shirt, or a bag, or the girls are, or the flowers adorn their pretty little pig tails.  That's the beautiful thing about the alligator clips on the back.

I want to thank everyone who participated in this giveaway!  It brought me 45 lovely new followers and around 25 of you commented making you contestants!  It sounds lame but I REALLY do appreciate all of you supportive uplifting people!  It makes my day when you comment and I LIVE to help you with my tutorials, advice, and/or just a good laugh.  Hopefully you get fulfilled in one of those areas, otherwise, why are you reading my blog?!!  Just kidding, seriously I'll try harder ok?

Oh man, I hate it that there can only be one winner.  Don't be mad.  Remember this was a drawing.....

And the lucky winner is.............Jamie W.!!!!!!!
